"Excuse me. I can't resist the urge to beat myself senseless on your table"
―The "Meeting Moth"

The "Meeting Moth" is a man with wings and antennas who looks part-human part-moth. He is featured in three comic strips, appearing on February 8, 9, and 10 in 1999. He is attracted to meetings small and large.

The workers seem to be often annoyed and scared of him, such as warding him off with a doughnut and cursing after a meeting he has attended.

Personality[]

The "Meeting Moth" is rather social, as demonstrated by his liking of meetings in the comic strips. He seems to be annoying and scary as he proved to the workers after his actions.

As a Character[]

The "Meeting Moth" made three consecutive appearances in February 1999. In the first one, he finds a meeting and asks the workers if he can beat himself senselessly on the table they're using. He then starts beating himself as Wally comments, "you have to envy his sense of purpose". In the second one, the strips start with Dilbert and Alice wearing torn clothing and cursing. Finally, the "Meeting Moth" is seen munching on a piece of clothing thinking that he should never go to a meeting on an empty stomach, implying that he had eaten pieces of Dilbert's and Alice's clothing since eating cloth is an annoying habit of many moths. In his last to date appearance, the strip starts with Asok and the Pointy-Haired Boss conversing as the "Meeting Moth" spies on them through a wall corner thinking that this moth sense has detected a meeting. He then asks Asok and the Pointy-Haired Boss if he could join in. Suddenly, Asok tells the Pointy-Haired Boss to run off while he holds the moth with a cedar-flavored donut. To this day, he has not appeared in any comic strip.
